Clocking

In the browser

Under Today there are big buttons for Clock in, Break and Clock out. The day's working time runs live. Mobile work – clock in marks the block as mobile work (home office) if the company has enabled this feature.

Below you see:

Today's entries – all blocks of the day,
My shifts – if shift planning is enabled,
Week – in, out, break, expected time, actual time, day balance and total balance per day,
Recent entries.

If the company has enabled projects or travel time, choose project and type (work, away, travel) before clocking.

Notices from the working time checks also appear under Today – e.g. when the rest period ends or that the maximum working time will soon be reached.

As an app on the phone

Punchify can be installed as an app – without an app store:

Android (Chrome): menu → "Install app" or "Add to home screen".
iPhone (Safari): Share → "Add to Home Screen".

Under Settings the app offers push notifications, e.g. a reminder if you are still clocked in after 10 hours, or messages about requests.

Without network

If the network fails, the app still clocks: the entry is stored on the device and transmitted with the original time as soon as there is a connection again. A notice shows how many entries are waiting.

Forgot to clock?

An admin adds missing or wrong times under Month – with a reason. The change remains visible in the history. Closed months are locked (see month closing).
